New Homes at Hullavington
On the 8 January 2016 the Association completed four new homes for rent in the beautiful village of Hullavington, near Chippenham. The stone built properties consist of 1 x 2 bed house; 1 x 3 bed house and 2 x 1 bed flats. They form part of a small development built by Coln Residential and the Association's houses were provided through the Section 106 planning gain agreement.
All of the 'cottage style' houses meet the Code of Sustainable Homes Level 3 and are heated by Air Source Heat Pumps to help reduce tenants' fuel bills. The two flats also benefit from solar panels to generate electricity and reduce bills. The properties also benefit from thermostatic showers, modern kitchens and bathrooms, double glazing and parking spaces. The gardens include a shed and washing lines.
The properties were allocated to people on the Homes4Wiltshire Housing register who demonstrated a high level of housing need.
