The 2025-26 White Horse Housing Association Tenant Satisfaction Survey, which is now online, will help shape the association’s priorities and policies for the next few years.

To thank residents for taking part, all respondents will be entered into three separate draws to win £100.

Every resident should have received an email link to the survey, which runs until November 8. A postal version of the survey will be sent to every resident who hasn’t responded on the week of November 10 – and again on November 24.

Any resident who has still not completed the survey by then will be offered the chance to complete it by phone between December 8 and 13.

Chief Executive Steve Warran says the most important purpose of the survey is to gauge how White Horse is performing against its own high standards of response, performance and satisfaction.

He says: “What our tenants think of us is hugely important to us and by asking all of these questions we can get a good picture of how we are performing and where we need to do better. Our last three surveys have returned very positive results, in 2023-24 we received an overall satisfaction rate of 96 per cent, but that doesn’t mean we are complacent.

“We have looked closely at every comment we received to see where we can make improvements.”

The 2023 survey also showed nine out of ten tenants (91 per cent) feel they are provided with a well-maintained home and almost all tenants (97 per cent) are satisfied they have a safe home. The same number said WHHA is easy to deal with, while 94 per cent of tenants say they are treated fairly and with respect.

The results from this year’s survey, which will be available in the New Year, will be fed into a national database to produce a league table of housing associations ranked on performance and tenant satisfaction. In the 2023 survey, carried out by respected housing research company Acuity, White Horse scored higher than any other landlord it surveyed in 11 out of 12 categories.

“I urge everyone to fill in the survey and send it back because their views are really important to us,” says Steve. “The feedback we receive is our residents’ main chance to tell us what we are doing well – and where we need to improve so we can concentrate our resources on continuing to make their life and their communities better.”

Anyone with questions about the survey, or who has not received a link, can contact the White Horse office on 01380 850916 or at info@whitehorsehousing.co.uk.
