On the 25th September the Association completed 3 x 2 bedroom homes in the village of Urchfont.
The homes, provided through a Section 106 Planning Gain Agreement, form part of a larger site with both market sale and shared ownership properties available (see our Shared Ownership page for more details). All the homes were built by the developer, Redcliffe Homes.
The three 'cottage style' houses all meet the Code of Sustainable Homes Level 3 and are heated by Air Source Heat Pumps to help reduce tenants' fuel bills. They also benefit from thermostatic showers, modern kitchens and bathrooms and double glazing. Generous gardens are provided along with a shed, washing line, rain water collection and composter.
All three properties were allocated to people on the Homes4Wiltshire Housing register who demonstrated a high level of housing need.
