Sarah Knight

Sarah began her career in housing over 20 years ago whilst working as the PA to the Chief Executive at a small South West Housing Association and "fell in love" with the affordable housing sector.  This role became a springboard to a career in developing affordable homes in both Housing Association and Local Authority settings.  Sarah is currently the Director of Development Delivery at Settle Paradigm where her team are responsible for the delivery, sales and aftercare of a development programme of about 500 affordable homes a year across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Sarah enjoys providing supportive leadership and driving improvement in an environment that is commercial but with a clear social purpose.  The importance of both providing new affordable homes to address the housing crisis, and also providing good customer service to those moving into them, continues to be central to her career.  Having recently qualified as a Planning and Development Surveyor with the RICS, Sarah is keen to promote both the property and housing sectors as brilliant places to work.

Sarah moved to Wiltshire 16 years ago and cannot imagine living anywhere else.  Married to a former member of the Armed Forces, Sarah has three teenage children and an unruly puppy.  She has been a Governor of her local primary school and is an active member of her local church.
