Phillip Berry

Phil joined White Horse Housing in June 2023.  He is a highly skilled finance professional with over 30 years of experience in various financial and accounting roles, including 17 years as an Assistant Principal (Finance & Resources) for two different Sixth Form Colleges. Phil holds a professional qualification as a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).

In his most recent role Phil was responsible for the overall financial management of the college, including the annual budget, 2-year financial plans, financial statements, and risk management. The college achieved an "Outstanding" rating for financial health by ESFA and successfully delivered a new £2m teaching block to time and on budget. Phil successfully challenged against an HMRC VAT tribunal, saving £400k.
